Primary 3

Welcome to Primary 3.  Our teachers this year are Mrs Gormley and Mrs Ferguson.    Our PE days will be a Monday and Thursday this year.  Our tuck shop day is Monday.

Elizabethan & Tudor Costume Display

Perth Theatre has a great display of Tudor/Elizabethan costumes that are on show until Friday 23rd March.  These are free to view and are displayed at the Mill Street entrance of the Theatre. These would be great for the children to see as we have been discussing the clothing of this era through our Mary Queen of Scots topic.

Primary 3 & Primary 3/4 will be showcasing all their learning about Mary Queen of Scots through their play performance. This will take place on Wednesday 28th March at 1:30pm in the school hall.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Primary 3 will be learning about Mary Queen of scots this term (January - March).  Click on the link below to view our learning tree.

Dynamic Earth Trip Information

Primary 3 and Primary3/4 have their trip to Dynamic Earth on Thursday. Children must wear school uniform and bring a waterproof jacket. Children will also need a pack lunch, snack and water bottle on the day.

In order to make the most out of our day we ask that children are at school for 8:45am so we can leave school at 9:00am. Children should line up as normal outside their school door and their class teachers will collect them from there at 8:45am sharp. If there are any difficulties with this please let us know as soon as possible.

We aim to be back for 3pm but if in the unlikely event there are any difficulties with traffic we will send all parents a text.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Primary 3 and Primary 3/4 Cake Sale

As part of their topic, the Polar Regions, Primary 3 & Primary 3/4 have been looking at Global Warming and the impact this has on the Polar Regions and the wildlife that live there. We have been particularly interested in the way this has affected polar bear numbers and would like to help with this issue.  We have decided to raise money to adopt a polar bear for the year by organising a cake sale on Tuesday 7th November.  Prices will range from 10p to 50p.

We would appreciate any donation of home baking on the day to sell.

Many Thanks

Mrs Gormley, Mrs Ferguson & Primary 3
